    Good afternoon Everyone,

I'm having a lot of trouble getting Jellyfin 10.9 to play some live tv streams. I've tested the streams with emby and vlc and they work fine. On HLS-Proxy I can see the request for the stream, however the client never connects. It does seem to transcode the HDHR streams from my HDhomerun device, however the process seems very slow where it was far quicker before.

    My logs are here:

Thank you and have a nice day.

Sorry. I was a bit busy yesterday and missed this. Is the log no longer available? When I try to wget the file it is saying the file is no longer available.

I'm sorry as well, I didn't know that paste would expire.
    I've finally found a free paste that I believe won't expire: https://rentry.co/oemtv68n/raw
When you look in the log you can see that The HDHR streams do play, however they Transcode where they either direct played or remuxed previously, there is a group of of channels imported via HDHR interface with an application called Cabernet and that seems to be feeding the streams in fine as well via remuxing which is normal for that stream set. Where I'm having problems is with some HLS streams that are coming in via m3u, I also have other streams that come in via m3u and they are playing fine with mixed ts/m3u8 streams; I think the difference is the troublesome set of streams I'm trying to view are in true HLS fashion where they contain 2-3 different resolutions woven into the stream, and some even have sound on separate tracks too. The Streams in question are Italian state media Rai, Mediaset, and several other state entities that are available to all Italian citizens to watch freely.
Now that I have a viable method for pasting I can provide any and all logs that you require.

Thank you and have a nice day

You can zip the log file to make it small enough to attach here.

Well, I used this really excellent helper script called Jellyman, it has an impressive set of features, however the one that sold me was it's ability to keep a certain set of backups on any given interval, plus an easy restoration process.
If you'd like I can provide a link to Github page, of course, only if that's allowed in the forum.

It's allowed, but it looks like "Jellyman" uses the "generic" Linux install method instead of just installing Jellyfin from our repo via apt.

It is probably fine, but may or may not introduce variables.

My suggestion is to setup TVHeadEnd, configure your HDHomeRun with the TVHeadEnd, then install the TVHeadEnd plugin in Jellyfin and have Jellyfin pull live TV from TVHeadEnd instead of directly from the HDHR. A lot of users with HDHomeRuns using them in this way since TVHeadEnd does a better job.

I can certainly try running TVHeadend for the HDHomeRun stuff, however, that still won't solve my issue with the HLS streams coming in via m3u; I'm able to play them fine via VLC and Emby, back when I was running 10.8 they played fine as well.

Or, are you saying try TVHeadend for both HDHR and m3u?

    Thx again

I believe TVHeadEnd can also handle multi-stream HLS M3U's.
