    Hello.

I have enabled HDMI and passthrough as per below.
If I enable E-AC3 the client hangs when I play a movie that uses that codec.

I am using Linux Ubuntu with latest client.

    thanks.

@theguymadmax - do you have any insight? I don't have HDMI pass-through on any of my JMP clients so I have no idea if this is normal or not.

I had the same issue. With around 20 device options to choose from, I found that leaving it on "Autoselect device" would cause JMP to hang when trying to play files with non-PCM audio. I had to test each device individually until I found one that didn’t cause JMP to freeze.

Thank you very much for your help.

I have a long list of options, tried them all but if I enable E-AC3 passthrough and play a movie that uses that codec the client hangs.

    regards,

    Bernard.

Is it ok if I log a bug for this on Github?

Additional notes: The settings I use don't work with the Flatpak version of JMP; they only function with JMP installed directly from the deb packages. I also encountered issues with PipeWire on earlier versions of Ubuntu, but it has been relatively trouble-free with 24.04.

    Thank you for your help.

I am running the latest version form .deb already.
Gonna log a bug and see what they say.

    cheers,

It seems that after a reboot everything work fine.

    Go figure.

    Thanks you for your help.

    regards,

    Bernard.
