This is odd. Remotely i can login and see everything navigate and change settings but i cant seem to get anything to play!
Running on an asustor NAS with jellyfin running in docker
However if im on my Local Network it works fine!
Any ideas what could be the cause?
I have ATT and have things port forwarded as follows (Yes i know these are not ideal, im just racking my brain trying to sort out this issue)
    asustor nasTCP/UDP: 8000-9000 DdnsTCP/UDP: 10000-20000 asustor web serviceTCP/UDP: 5000-6000
    HTTPTCP/UDP: 80
    HTTPSTCP/UDP: 443

Are you transcoding? Upload your Jellyfin and ffmpeg logs to pastebin and share it here.

    Hey @mherring

There should be two kinds of logs you can download from your "Dashboard -> logs":
    1. Jellyfin Server logs: Start with log_
    2. Jellyfin ffmpeg logs: Start with ffmpeg_

Could you please also provide the 2nd type of log?

Here's a log from outside of network where it fails

    OK thats very helpfull.

When you play on your local network, you are using Remux, say No transcoding and when outside, the server tries to use QSV to transcode your media and fails.
This indicates you did not setup your Transcoding correctly.

Gracias! That seems to have worked.

    Here is an interesting development.

Android (Brave Browser and Jellyfin App) work fine.

    Windows Brave browser/chrome/Edge do not.

Are you sure https://pastebin.com/rbNfxBNU is not working? according to the logs its a remux (audio transcoding) and its working fine.

Checking in, wanted to bump this.

Don't mean to pressure for help didn't want this to get lost in the mix.
