Basically, I wanted to use Jellyfin on my tv because its just better than my Computer Monitor so I extracted some of my 4k Blu Ray disks, put them on a storage device and then tried streaming them off the app. One of them works, but the other two just refuse to. I really dont know why. Can someone help me because I really just want to watch my movies. All of them are MKV's that use HEVC with HDR.

Can you share your logs via paste? And the media info of the problem files.
Also which client? And what are your server specs and OS.

Hello, I do not know how to find my Logs, I am still kinda new to this, but my Media is this:
I also am on Linux Mint 21.3 (Cinnamon), using Jellyfin 10.9.10, with a Ryzen 7 with a 6700xt GPU and 32GB of 3200 MHZ of Ram. UPDATE: I have determined the problem to be dolby vision, so know I just need to somehow, convert those to HDR10

Replicate the problem and then copy and paste the contents of log_20240907.log to pastebin.com. If there are any FFmpeg logs share those too. With the Media being not dolby vision, for some reason, even though it says it might not be dolby vision, the disks that I have do say it has it so Idk. Also, with dovi_tool, how do I install that on Linux?

You don't install it with your package manager. You download it from the git and copy the binary file to /usr/bin.

Ok and since im still pretty sucky at linux stuff, what does the binary file look like?

So now, Im just following your guide to try and remux it. Lets hope I dont get any errors!
So now, when I try to remux the remux, it keeps saying file ended prematurely! WHYYYY

You don't need to build if you download the pre-compiled binary. Placing the binary in /usr/bin allows you to call the app without ./
