    Hey everyone,

I'm pretty new to Jellyfin and I want to split my media and metadata directories.

I have my movies in one folder and downloaded the metadata for them as well. When I put the movies and metadata in the same directory everything works fine. However to keep my library clean I would like to put the metadata into a different directory. I tired to do so and added that directory to the library as well as the movies but the metadata is not found then.

Any ideas how I can archive this?
Best regards and  thanks in advance

    Hey @Cilenco

Jellyfin currently supports two methods of metadata storage.
    1. In the [JellyfinConfigFolder]/metadata
    2. As nfo files alongside the media

When you create or edit a lib this is set by checking the "NFO saver" checkbox.
No other form of metadata storage is currently supported
    typos are finders, keepers.
