Hi,
Started using Jellyfin this year, and very much enjoying it.
Currently, I live at home and have set up a Jellyfin server on an old laptop. My parents very much enjoy using the frontend, but are not techwise enough to download content.
In a month, I will be moving out and don't want to deprive my parents of their Jellyfin server. As such, I would like to create a new server at the new location. Ideally, I would like to download content on my own server, which then is also downloaded on the server of my parents. Is there a way to set this up without using sonarr and radarr, as I have had some trouble recently with finding downloads through these programs, making me resort to manually downloading (i.e. not through -arr programs). If possible, I would also like to keep the watched/not watched data separate. My parents internet is not stable enough, and therefore a local server would be much better (if possible).
Is this something that can be achieved?
If so, feel free to share any documentation or send me in the right direction!
Thanks!
