Local works just fine, ensured the port is forwarded, as far as I know my ISP doesn't utilize CGNAT, not using any reverse proxy as that was going to be my next step.
I've ensured remote connections are enabled and I'm simply using HTTP.

Not really sure what to check next, I'm fairly certain it's a simple fix that I'm just missing but I've looked at the documentation and at other posts but whenever I try to connect via app on my cellphone it fails.

    Appreciate any help

And you're using your WAN IP on your phone and not the LAN IP?

Who is your ISP? Comcast or Verizon? A smaller ISP?

Have you used an open port check site to make sure that the port is actually open ? I've noticed in the past that Jellyfin server has to be restarted after changing those settings.

Yep this was it, was using LAN IP instead of the WAN, opened up the router settings, found the WAN IP address and plopped it in, boom working.

    Thanks once again.
