I have custom paths set up and every time I do an update I have to re-setup libraries, users, networking, everything. Can user settings not be saved in a folder in install directory. Then that can be easily copied, moved ect. Then on start up Jellyfin would look for the relative path and load everything.

There’s a parameter you can use for startup that allows you to point to custom paths. Give me a few and I’ll get you the list.
How are you starting it? Do you have it set up as a service, or are you just launching the .exe?
