Transcoding

Hello,
I am new to Jellyfin. I installed it on my Synology DS1520+, it was really easy. But now I have a strange issue with hardware transcoding. Some movies works like a charm (300), others reports Playback Error (3ways). When I turn transcoding off, everything works. Somebody has any idea? Thank you.

Can you share your ffmpeg logs via pastebin?

With that particular NAS, are you running DSM? That tends to ship with an ancient version of the Linux Kernel, and that probably has a lot of issues with transcoding in general.

Also, the document you posted is not the official method of installation, which is detailed here.
