Can't find subtitle offset after the last updates

Subtitle offset was only available with libVLC, which was removed in 0.17 due to security vulnerabilities that weren't being patched by VLC.

Thanks. Is there an alternative?

I always extract all subs, rearrange them with "Subtitles edit" then, mix it with "mkvtoolnix" and upload my movie. Yeah it's a long process but never had an issiue
