    I'm using Jellyfin:
    - Server 10.9.8 on a PC with Windows 11
    - Client 0.17.1 on a Chromecast 4K

I used to be able to offset my subtitles some weeks ago. After the last updates (client and server), I can't do this anymore. The icon is missing. I can't select ExoPlayer anymore.

How can I use subtitle offsets again?

    Thanks.

Subtitle offset was only available with libVLC, which was removed in 0.17 due to security vulnerabilities that weren't being patched by VLC.

    Thanks. Is there an alternative?

I always extract all subs, rearrange them with "Subtitles edit" then, mix it with "mkvtoolnix" and upload my movie. Yeah it's a long process but never had an issiue
