    Admin Dashboard Inaccessible Externally

    There is probably a simple solution to this, but I'm new to Jellyfin so it's catching me out at the moment.

    Essentially, if I access the server on it's LAN IP, I can click through to the Administration Dashboard. However, if I access the server on it's public URL I cannot.

    Any ideas?

    Are you accessing it with the same "User" account or with a different user that you created ? Sounds like you are accessing it externally with a different "User" that does not have "Admin" permissions

    To be clear: Are you saying that you can't access the server at all, or only that you can't get to the dashboard?

    Update:

    The issue I was facing was only the Admin dashboard was inaccessible remotely. It apparently resolved itself so not an issue with Jellyfin I'd imagine
