I always get Playback failed due to a fatal player error on newly downloaded movies and series when using anything else then my pc. Could someone please help me to fix this.

here's the latest jellyfin log to if that can help.

I see you're playing an anime episode from the logs.

On your PC, are you using Jellyfin Media Player? MPV Shim?
These players support direct playing ASS subs (popular sub type for anime).

Playing files with ASS subs on other clients (such as Android TV) will result in the video needing to be transcoded to burn in the subs.

Which brings me to the main questions:
    1. Do you have HWA transcoding set up?
    2. What is your server specs? What GPU are you using?
    3. Do you have transcoding permission enabled for all users?

Normally, I'm supposed to have HWA set up with QSV with my i7 7700k and 48GB of  RAM. But I also think that this is what's probably not working since the update. It also does have transcoding permission enabled for all users. On my desktop, I'm simply on Google Chrome, and both directly on the Docker IP or domain work well. I also have some series such as Umbrella Academy that I recently installed, but it seems to work everywhere.

Did you just update Jellyfin or did you update the OS? Double check that you passed the render group ID into the container.

I am currently utilizing the Unraid Operating System and have only updated the Docker. Unfortunately, I am not aware of the render group ID.

Can you share screenshots of the Docker container's settings from the unRAID UI?

You need to add a device and pass in /dev/dri/renderD128.
